Fortnite and Doctor Who Alliance Allegedly at Standstill

A colossal Doctor Who event, potentially matching the scale of the Dragon Ball and My Hero Academia crossovers, has reportedly been "totally postponed." This information comes from leak source FNBRintel, who suggests that senior figures at either the BBC or Epic are dissatisfied with the anniversary content and the misalignment with the show's timeline if the crossover is scheduled for December or January. 

The 60th-anniversary special for Doctor Who is expected to broadcast this November. If the partnership is set for one or two months following that, the BBC is presumably concerned about missing the optimal timing. However, the leak indicates that Epic is diligently working to meet the deadline.
