Introducing Juno: Overwatch 2's New Martian Support Hero Arrives in Season 12

Overwatch 2 has experienced its fair share of challenges, but it's evident that Blizzard has committed to delivering shorter seasons and more frequent content updates. Since the transition to the 2.0 version, players have been treated to a variety of new maps, modes, and nine new Heroes, set to expand to ten when Season 12 launches in mid-August.

Blizzard has confirmed that the next addition to the roster will be the Support Hero Juno, a Martian who combines offensive capabilities with high mobility, making her an even deadlier counterpart to Lucio. Juno's primary weapon, the Mediblaster, serves a dual purpose by both healing allies and damaging enemies through its burst-fire mode. Her secondary fire, known as Pulsar Torpedoes, consists of homing projectiles that provide healing over time to allies and damage foes.

Juno's passive ability, Martian Overboots, grants her the power to hover in mid-air when jumping. Alongside this, her Glide Boost skill allows her to glide horizontally at increased speeds, while the Hyper Ring ability deploys a ring that boosts the movement speed of any ally that passes through it.

Her Ultimate ability, Orbital Ray, calls down a formidable ray from the cosmos, which travels forward, healing teammates and inflicting damage on enemies. This mechanic bears a resemblance to the Hammer of Dawn from Gears of War.

Juno is set to make her official debut in Overwatch 2 on August 20 with the launch of Season 12. However, players will get an early chance to try out her abilities during a trial period this weekend.
