Nvidia Ascends to Become the World's Most Valuable Company, Surpassing Tech Giants Microsoft and Apple

Nvidia has now become the highest-valued company in the world. In 2021, Apple surpassed Microsoft to claim the top spot as the highest-valued company globally, maintaining that position for three years. However, in January of this year, Microsoft overtook Apple, relegating it to second place.

Anyone keeping tabs on the stock market in recent years has likely noticed another tech giant rapidly ascending, specifically Nvidia. Earlier this month, Nvidia surpassed Apple and, just two weeks later, also moved past Microsoft.

Currently, Nvidia boasts a valuation of $3.34 trillion, ahead of Microsoft's market capitalization of $3.32 trillion and Apple's $3.29 trillion. Following these three, there's a significant drop in value to the fourth and fifth positions, held by two other American giants—Google (or Alphabet, as they are formally known) and Amazon—both of which have market capitalizations of around $2 trillion.

Nvidia's impressive growth, driven by advancements in artificial intelligence, has rendered its graphic card business nearly a minor sideline. Some analysts have even speculated that Nvidia may eventually exit the consumer graphics card market altogether to concentrate on far more lucrative investments.
