Xbox Calls Off Game Pass Promotion for One Week of Starfield
Starfield is set to launch soon, with the initial release happening this Friday for those who bought the Premium and Collector's Editions. For the rest, the game will be accessible from September 6, when the remaining ships will be released. However, Microsoft's recent decision to remove the Game Pass offer for one euro just prior to Starfield's debut has caused a bit of surprise. It was an appealing deal for many looking to enjoy 14 days of Starfield at a fantastic price.
Now, anyone who wants to subscribe will need to do it at standard rates – Game Pass Ultimate at £12.99 per month, Game Pass for PC at £7.99, and Xbox Game Pass at £8.99. Despite this, people with an Xbox Series or powerful PC can switch the game between the two, thanks to the Xbox Play Anywhere feature. This subscription also includes access to Starfield, the existing catalogue, and EA Play on PC and Ultimate modes.
